In Advanced Ovarian Cancer – Time is Everything.
When you’re living with advanced ovarian cancer, time becomes something else entirely, where every moment and every choice matters. Give Us Time (formerly known as Give Her Time) is a campaign that brings those moments into focus. Commissioned by GSK in partnership with leading UK charities Ovacome and Ovarian Cancer Action, Give Us Time is a powerful campaign designed to amplify the voices of people living with advanced ovarian cancer in the UK.
While much of the public conversation focuses on symptoms and early diagnosis, over 75% of those diagnosed are already at a late stage. This campaign shifts the spotlight to their experiences — to the strength, individuality, and humanity behind each diagnosis.
The work
Blonde was briefed to create a series of film pieces that could speak with honesty, not instruction. In collaboration with AKT Health Communications, we developed content for digital and social platforms that puts real stories front and centre — stories like Kerry’s and Samixa’s.
Living with advanced ovarian cancer, both Kerry and Samixa have faced difficult realities. But their stories are not defined by illness. They are defined by resilience, by family, by love and passion — and by finding new ways to focus on what truly matters.
Why it matters
In the UK, over 4,400 people are diagnosed each year with stage 3 or 4 ovarian cancer.
And while treatment options are expanding, that progress only matters if people are given the time to explore them.
Give Us Time is about ensuring that people understand that for those with ovarian cancer time is not a luxury, but a right. To choose. To be heard. To live beyond a diagnosis.
