The Brief
To film music videos for three songs in one day for Paloma Faith’s multi platinum selling album A Perfect Contradiction – Deluxe edition.
(This song, Can’t Rely on You, was co-written by Paloma and Pharrell Williams.)
The Idea
We knew the band needed somewhere they could feel comfortable and have fun recording these songs, so we chose a beautiful home in London as the location. We filmed the band perform in these intimate locations multiple times with multiple cameras to maximise footage we had for the edit. Each film was given a slightly different treatment in the edit and grade to differentiate between them and match the energy of the song and performance.
The Results
Both the visual and audio recordings were great for all three films and really captured the energy of Paloma and her band performing together, the audio recordings were released on the album’s deluxe edition and this film alone has notched up over 1.5million views and counting on YouTube.
